ABOUT ME

I was born in Chicago, then I moved to Boulder, and then back to Chicago. Now I live in Buffalo. Along the way I've done some traveling. I enjoy reading, writing, and surprisingly enough, arithmetic. I've never really learned to spell, and I really appreciate that this text box has a spell-checking function. That's really great. Let's see, I'm a fan of puns, am lukewarm on nuns, and generally against guns.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've CouchSurfed a few times, and, when i finally get a place to live, would like to start hosting people. In the grand scheme of things, i'm pretty new to this whole thing, but i really like the idea. i think that people, especially in this country, and by and large much too distrustful of each other.

oh, i guess, i kind of covered some of this in the "General" category, but I also like listening to music, watching movies, reading, hiking, learning new things. i'm interested in learning to box, because i've heard that it's really fun.

books: Vonnegut (R.I.P.), Nabokov, D.H. Lawrence, J.K. Rowling, 100 years of solitude, little big, I recently read, Bill Bryson's "A Short History of Nearly Everything" and really enjoyed it

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmm, I know about English Literature and Math. I know how to fold a dollar bill so that it looks like a miniature shirt, there's probably other things.
I'd like to learn pretty much anything you have to teach. In my opinion, all skills have some value.
