About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be genuine

ABOUT ME

I am a poor college student attending Whitworth University, and I love to program, play video games, hang out with friends and listen to music.

I tend to be a little introverted, but I very much enjoy intellectual discussion and learning new things. I love to improve existing systems, and I'm always looking to get new experiences and learn new things.

PHILOSOPHY

You do what you believe in. If you aren't doing it, you don't truly believe it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm just here to see what happens for now, I don't plan on doing any surfing quite yet, but I'm open to hang out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far!

Interests

I like to read, play video games (pc, some xbox, gamecube, N64), go bowling, talk over coffee, puzzles, programming, web design, stuff like that.

Music, Movies, and Books

Where to start? I love Jim Butcher (Codex Alera, Dresden Files), Patrick Rothfuss (The Kingkiller Chronicles), the timeless Redwall series by Brian Jacques, among many other novels. I'm currently reading A Song of Fire and Ice.

I love the indie scene of music, so if you say The Postal Service or Vampire Weekend, I'm listening! I'm also into the classic rock scene, so any oldie and I'll listen to it. The only genres I really can't stand are some hip hop, rap and heavy metal.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled through China for a month

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to meet people from all sorts of backgrounds and experiences. I've traveled a little bit, and I enjoy encountering different cultures and worldviews. I love to learn about and from other people, and to share my own knowledge about many topics (technology, gaming, books, religion, philosophy, you name it!)
