About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To insist that I know what I'm talking about to people who know what they're talking about.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in LA trying to be everything that LA is good for like actors and rock stars. And then I went into architecture. I've lived in LA for 95% of my life, in Beijing for a year, and London for five years - I like to get around! I take my longboard (skateboard) everywhere with me. I love food, so much. Sushi is the best. I cook because London is expensive and also because I know how to make my taste buds happy. I've designed, and continue to design women's shoes and furniture alongside architectural design.

PHILOSOPHY

Golden Rule: do unto others as you would like others to do unto you. I live my life because I'm interested in learning about how life came to be in the first place, and so scientific explorations into nature and space really interest me. If you don't let loose, you don't laugh, you can't take sarcasm, you're too uptight.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by being one more person in the network who wants to be accommodated and can accommodate people who want to travel around the world, without having to always pay to stay.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed and I have hosted :) I'm active in the community and I'm looking forward to gaining CSers' trust so that I can travel everywhere and have a place to stay.

Interests

design, food, music, skateboarding, playing sports, turning everything into a philosophical discussion, singing songs that get stuck in my head when listening to the radio.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

one amazing thing i have seen in my lifetime is the crystal blue water inside the Grotto Azul at Capri, Italy. Still haven't skydived, but one day...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people how to speak in different accents. I can teach people about differences between architectural and design styles. i would love to learn latin dances!
