ABOUT ME

I am a 25-year young marine biologist living in California and working at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. My friends know me for my happiness, energy, and outgoing personality. I like smiling and do it often...

Originally from LA I spent 8 years in Canada studying and working, as well as 2 years in Scotland earning a Masters degree. I have backpacked mostly in Europe and the Middle East and have a zest for travel and life in general!

I enjoy mountain biking, surfing, kayaking, SCUBA diving, and swimming. I also have a passion for good food and am always glad to share meals with good company.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I got introduced to CS through a friend who organized Hosts for us while we traveled. When we got home I immediately created a profile and started hosting.

From the beginning I was inspired by the warmth and hospitality I was receiving from relative strangers who opened their homes to me...since then I have worked to pay it forward! Now that I am a bit more settled and don't travel as much it is great to Host and contribute positively to someone else's adventures!

兴趣

I am captivated by the ocean- I take every opportunity to be in or on it. I also enjoy cooking, yoga, playing violin and chess, watching movies, and chilling with friends! I am a huge fan of Catan and will never turn down a game...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have bungee-jumped, pet lions on two separate occasions, been to the Oktoberfest and the Olympics, danced my butt off at Sasquatch Music Festival, and had lunch with Steven Spielberg...

As a marine biologist I have been blessed with a wealth of knowledge of awesome things: great white sharks, bluefin tuna, sea otters...and that is just in my division at the Aquarium!

I believe that everyone has something to teach and I always seem to enjoy the lesson :)
