Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I want to travel the world and meet as many new people as I can during my adventures. I am currently planning a backpacking trip through South America to start around July 2015 and am very interested in finding people who will allow me to Couchsurf with them during my time there. I plan to backpack through Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, and hopefully Uruguay, Paraguay, and Brazil. I will be on a tight budget and staying in hostels anytime I am not able to find a host but hope it won't have to be too often. I know once someone gets the chance to know me they will see that I'm a very friendly and kind hearted person who is simply on a journey to discover himself and the world and who wants to make as many friends as possible along the way.
Interests
My main interests currently include traveling, global politics, and figuring out how I can help those in need in the best way possible. I also love American football and the Green Bay Packers and am very interested in mental and physical health and fitness. Most of all, I enjoy a great discussion about a wide range of topics with friends and new acquaintances which always help to broaden my knowledge.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In May of 2014, I travelled to Pader, Uganda to work with an international non-profit organization called "Friends of Orphans-Uganda" whose mission is to help rehabilitate and educate former forced child soldiers, sex slaves, single mothers, orphans, and other youth in need. I spent most of my time with the owner of the organization learning about what they do as well as talking with the people staying at the campus. Although I was there for a short time I met some of the most amazing and inspiring people I've ever met and made a few friends I still speak with today. It was a journey that forever changed me and helped make me who I am today.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can be a very friendly but also helpful and intellectual roommate who enjoys everything from having a meaningful conversations and learning about other cultures to going out and drinking around town for the night. Hosts don't have to worry about me being dirty, disrespectful, or mindless during my time spent in their home and I am more than willing to provide assistance in whatever the host needs completed around the house. In me, hosts have someone who will help create a meaningful stay that will benefit myself and them, and that will hopefully form a new lifelong friendship.
