About Me
Imagine a golden retriever that tells dad jokes, and you somewhere close to my personality
I enjoy experiencing new food and new beers in new places with new people. While I've never been much of a partier, I'm always willing to try again because I believe it's important to explore all the different sides of your personality.
Travel goals: Make friends in every time zone. Go to a brewery in every state.
Philosophy: (Best outlined by my 4 small tattoos.)
1. I am who I am because of my own experiences, and the experiences of those who raised me. Travel is a necessity. Always remember where you came from, enjoy where you are, and look forward to what's ahead. Make the most each season in life. Develop a strong body, a sharp mind, a pure spirit, and a commitment to the well being of others.
2. Everything in life is an accumulation of small changes. You can only get to where you want to go, be who you want to be, and do what you want to do by taking advantage of the small opportunities each day. So give yourself grace if you're not where you want. The only thing you can do is move forward.
3. "It is only with the heart that one see's rightly." Approach life with child-like wonder. I am a man-child, and I love it.
4. I aim to live in joy and love. I was born to Shine in HIS love.
One quick note: I am Christian, but it's not my place - or anyone's - to convert or to shame others. I am open always to respectful conversation. No one knows everything, and it's not our job to know everything!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Sharing stories and making memories with new people is when I feel the most alive. We are not meant to live this life alone, and CS has been a tremendous community that embodies that principle. Hosts are the most generous people on the planet. I love learning and extending their hospitality.
When I first used CS, I never felt so at home in places I have never been, or so comfortable with people I have never met. I hope to share that with others. The consistent authentic connections made with fellow surfers is truly priceless.
CS welcomed me into a family of intelligent, creative, adventurous, and downright wacky people. and I wouldn't change a damn thing about it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelled through Europe twice.
First time I did the tallest bungee jump in Europe (Niouc Bridge, Switzerland | 190 meters)
The second time I got stranded in Iceland (not fun)
Teach, Learn, Share
My hidden talent is converting people into craft beer-drinkers. (Hint: hef's and stouts are usually good places to start).
What I Can Share with Hosts
Are you looking for a low maintenance surfer? Do you need someone who will help you cook and clean? Are you tired of passive surfers treating you like a hotel? Look no further!!
This surfer will get to know you, clean up after himself and treat your home with respect.
I very much enjoy exploring new cities, learning the history, and discovering the best places local's frequent.
