About Me

Fun-loving, experience oriented, and open-minded to all people and situations. I am just trying to meet as many people as possible, share stories and perspectives, and squeeze every last drop out of the amazing things that life has to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have heard outstanding things from all my friends that have been involved. An amazing idea that enables people to share hospitality of the quality they hope to receive someday. It's a great way to build up some positive karma and enjoy travelling.

Interests

I know my interests plenty well enough, but I'd love to hear about yours! I enjoy sharing perspectives and learning about others' experiences in order to enrich both my life as well as other folks' lives. I do also love almost any type of outdoor game/sport/activity so I'm pretty easy-going and easy to please.

Music, Movies, and Books

Again, I like a wide variety, but tend to appreciate quality over genre. While I do mooch off my friends' hard work finding good music, I have been getting more into finding my own recently. Movies > TV and again its quality > genre. With regards to the books, I'm a huge sci-fi/fantasy lover and have to say that 'The Name of the Wind' is pretty high up on my list. Like most folks striving for better habits however, I am trying to read to more enlightening novels like 'Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance' and 'A Man's Search for Meaning'.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Helped construct reliable bamboo houses for folks in an earthquake ravaged Ecuadorian slum. Sharing the load of their recovery I was able to make friends and aid some folks in a tough time while I was able to grow as a person. They also know how to play footy pretty well!

Teach, Learn, Share

Critical thought is good fun for all things and all situations. Thoughts are developed by speaking and listening.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My positive energy and love for discussion. I can share stories of my travels, thought processes, personal developments, and beliefs (which are always open to adjustment). Most importantly, I will show my appreciation for what they've enabled me to experience by hosting me.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Brazil, Denmark, Ecuador, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, United Kingdom
