I live for spontaneous exploration whenever, wherever, and however I can. Everyday away from work leads to a new place, a new book or film, or a new recipe or restaurant. Like everyone I do have my favorite spots, but I have been trying to branch out more recently and discover more about the world around me and myself as well.

I just discovered this after reading an article on a travel blog, it sounds like a fantastic way to make new friends and experience travel and the world in a way you wouldn't be able to as a typical tourist.

I'm here so that during my travels I don't miss any of the fantastic hidden gems in your city. The local dive bar with fantastic live entertainment, or that little food stand that gets passed by yet makes fantastic food.

Maybe you are visiting my city for the first time and I can positively add to your experience.

I typically listen to classic rock or alternative music, but I have found myself in blues bars in Chicago and country bars in Nashville.

I watch far to many movies to even attempt to make a list of favorites without missing something. If I had to pick just one I would go with Casablanca, it has everything a great film should, intrigue, love lost and found, deep characters, and an emotional journey.

I've got a few books on my shelf that are just collecting dust at the moment. I ordered them with the best of intentions but have yet to follow through.
