I'm an anthropologist that is setting out on a journey to see the world. Originally from Vancouver, Canada, I've had the travel bug my whole life. Now that I am out of school I am able to start off on a new journey! I love learning new languages, cultures, and cuisines so most of my travels surround food. My other passion is for plants. I love gardening and being out in nature. There's no better way for me to recharge that to go for a walk in nature.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing to meet new people on my travels. As fun as it is to relax at a hotel the sterile environment doesn't lend itself as well to really experiencing what makes each destination amazing. I love learning about different types of foods and seeing the city from a local's perspective.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music can only be described as eclectic. Everything from country to latin, classical to pop. And my favourite movies are period pieces, fantasy/sci-fi, action, and documentaries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my favourite things I've been able to do was a field school at a remote research station in the middle of the jungle on a remote island in Panama.
