About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finding the strangeness in strangers. Biking around and finding light is pretty great too.

ABOUT ME

I get along with just about everyone and can enjoy pretty much anything. I'm easy going, balanced and highly adaptable. The biking, camping and kayaking are most excellent. I love my friends like they're family.

I'm a working documentary filmmaker and photojournalist. I spend several months out of the year working in East Africa. Otherwise, I'm tromping about the US looking for oddities.

Home base is Oakland, California.

PHILOSOPHY

Why say no when you can say yes?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Im not hosting at the moment (recent housing change up), but I'm more than happy to meet up and/or bike around the San Francisco/Oakland area.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed throughout East Africa, Central America and the states. Though... not via couchsurfing.org. I can be entirely self-sufficient or completely involved as the situation requires.

Interests

I like to see the world through the eyes of those I meet, I'd always rather say yes than no, enjoy clamoring and tend to wander.

I'm particular to the water. If it's there, I'm probably gonna be in it. Photo walks are always excellent and welcomed. Dancing: a very good thing.

Conversation-wise... I'm a bit of a goof. I like to play and not take things too seriously. If we can tell each other about our weirdness and laugh about it... we'll get along just fine.

I'll dive into the moral implications of geo-political struggles and so on... the details... I'm not so concerned with. I deal with a lot of these issues for work and tend to leave them there.

Adventures and exploration are where it's at.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw a bail of hay in eastern Oregon. Does that count? Seriously, the world is far too vast and amazing to be broken down into an all time high.
