ABOUT ME

I just moved to Oviedo, Spain after a beautiful 9 months in Edinburgh, Scotland and then another beautiful 6 months in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with lots of people who I love. I accidentally took a couchsurfing hiatus while going crazy at University in the US, where I am always too busy. Now I am going to be traveling through Spain and (hopefully) perfecting my language skills. I love reading, writing, singing, dancing and interpreting my dreams and other signs that I pull from the universe at large. My current endeavors include learning Spanish and reading long books in hopes of engaging more deeply with the culture and the language.

Ahora, yo estoy viviendo en Oviedo, Asturias para estudiar en la universidad y aprender mas de español y la cultura de este país increíble. Me encanta leer, viajar, cantar, bailar, y hablar con personas de países y culturas diferentes. Yo tengo mucho para compartir: historias, poemas, canciones y mas. Deseo que puedo conocer a mucha gente mientras que estoy aquí en España. Mi sueno durada es para vivir cada momento lo mejor que puedo y compartir los partes mejores de mi caracter con otras personas que quieren hacer lo mismo. Mis viajes han mejorado mi vida y cada día tengo una experiencia nueva que me enseña algo.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently living with a host family and am not able to host, but I would happily entertain any passers-through who find themselves in Oviedo. As far as surfing goes, I am always happy to exchange a fine meal of my native (or not so native) cuisine as thanks to my hosts. Conversation and good company for all.

Following a tour guide up the side of a volcano in Guatemala. He laughed as some boys lit cigars off a river of lava, and told us about the spirit of the mountain and the dying souls of the rosewood trees.

Glad to teach Spanish, songs, poems, either of the two jokes I know. Love to learn languages, customs, recipes. Glad to share food, space, stories.
