Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
See some sights and meet some good folks along the way.
ABOUT ME
Undergrad in Geography/Anthropology, found my way to South Korea to teach English for a bit, grad school in Public Affairs, and have now worked in nonprofit programming and community development related to refugee resettlement since then. It's something I'm very passionate about and that is incredibly important, particularly given where we stand in history at the moment. Ask me about it if you're curious!
PHILOSOPHY
Travel as a means for personal discovery/development and a promotion of cross-cultural understanding.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Have had some really excellent experiences hosting and surfing. Interested in meeting new people, exchanging ideas, having some good conversation paired with some ridiculous good times.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had the privilege to encounter some really incredible people through CS. Wanderers of all persuasions. It's a movement that I really admire and I can only hope to serve as a resource for others when they are passing through my neck of the woods, wherever that may be.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A few that rank near the top are hiking the Picos de Europa in northern Spain, teaching English to students in rural South Korea, and exploring family roots in rural Norway.
Teach, Learn, Share
There is authenticity in every experience, and people experience travel and the feelings associated with it in incredibly different ways. That's probably one of the biggest and best lessons I've learned from my adventuring.
