ABOUT ME

I'm 23 and will be finishing out my senior year of university in May. Right now I'm completely immersed in school work and my job. I'm a waitress at Legal Sea Foods in Boston and also work at a local fudge factory and ice cream cafe in Bristol, NH. http://www.themillfudgefactory.com

I'm double majoring in Spanish and International Relations. I love the Romantic languages with Spanish being my favorite. I eventually want to learn Arabic, German, French, Greek, and Italian. Right now I can speak English and Spanish.

Music has always been an important part of my life and still occupies a lot of my time. I've been playing piano for 14 years and clarinet for 12 years. I also enjoy singing. I love all types of music and I'm always looking for new music to listen to and to share. Jazz, blues, and classical are probably my favorite genres to play/sing.

Yoga and meditation are two practices I love; at minimum I try to do a sun salutation and headstand every morning. I'm also very outdoorsy. Camping, kayaking, swimming, and hiking are some of my favorite outdoor activities. Summer is my favorite season, but I lovingly embrace the other three as well. Snowboarding is my favorite (and the only) winter sport I do. I fell in love with it in the winter of '09 when a friend taught me.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel that people are basically good. I try to share my ideas and make a loving, positive impact on people I meet. Our Earth is an amazing place and this is an exciting time to be living in =]

Interests

Music is my main hobby and passion. I also love being outdoors which is why living in New Hampshire is perfect for me.

I also love to learn; I'm like a sponge =] I try to make the most of all of the classes I take (even the ones I'm not fond of). Also, absorbing information from my friends, family and my own life experiences is important to me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a 21 day, 9,000 mile, cross-country road trip with my three best friends from high school.

Back-packed around the Península del Yucatán in México for three weeks.
