I'm currently living in Arcata, CA working as an OA, but I'm looking to move further north soon! I studied film in school and currently write a lot of poetry and play a lot of dungeons and dragons. I travel when I can, I've done cross country road trips and took trains around some of Europe. I love to cook with people and share perspectives and stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking to travel around the US to find a new home town, and I would love to meet new people while doing it! It would mean a lot to hear from someone living in the area to know how I would feel about living there myself.

I love JD Salinger and Neil Gaiman! American Gods is one of my favorites, and an awesome travel book.
I loved the new Blade Runner movie, and if you've seen it I can talk your ear off about it for hours.
I can get behind just about any kind of music, but lately I've been getting into metal and dream pop (I know, two extremes)

I've won some awards for my writing, one for playwriting, one for poetry, and one for a short story. I also published a literary magazine.
