About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To bring the Texas culture to every corner of the globe!
ABOUT ME
I moved to Alexandria, VA about a year ago. I've also lived in Portland, OR and of course the great state of Texas! I'd like to meet as many interesting as possible while I'm here. I love long bike rides, impromptu soccer games, disc golf and playing board games. I also appreciate watching documentaries and foreign movies from time to time. I grow my own beard and enjoy compliments on it.
PHILOSOPHY
No man is quick enough to enjoy life to the full. Forcing it only makes it a chore.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I've been to a few events like paintball and skiing I've always had an amazing time! The people are great and when I'm not working I try to come out to other events. I haven't hosted yet, but when I get settled here I can't wait to invite people over!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't had too many experiences, but the one that sticks in my mind the most is when I was in Arlington, TX and met a group of couchsurfers having a meeting. I've been hooked ever since.
Interests
Biking, running, but not walking. Walking is for suckers. Disc golf, racquetball, hacking the sack, soccer, wrasslin' every now and again, and learning new things.

Music, Movies, and Books
There's too much to write and not enough time to write it. I like westerns, action and suspense movies, not a big horror fan, but I'll watch one if nothing better comes along. I love going to concerts no matter what genre of music so it makes it easier to listen to anything although I like some throat crushing bass on occasion. I've got to hear it before I can create an opinion. I'll read just about anything, but my current problem is starting a book and getting halfway through it then picking up a new one that I HAVE to read. It's a vicious cycle. On my nightstand at the moment I have the Omnivore's Dilemma, On the Road, Fast Food Nation, For Whom the Bell Tolls, and Zombie Survival Guide is on the commode.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being in the Northwest part of the US has been one of the most eye opening experiences for me. The culture difference from Texas to Oregon blew my mind.
