I'm a business school graduate with a love of travel, cultures and languages. Finland, in particular, has always held a special place in my heart since that is where my ancestors are from. The part of Michigan I'm from also has a lot of Finnish influence, and although the language, for the most part, wasn't passed down to my relatives, I decided to learn it myself and have been loving every moment of it.

I'm also a big fan of Eurovision, and am making my first trip to the contest this year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people and see new places. I'm going to Finland in May, and it would be great to practice my spoken Finnish with native speakers, as well as see everyday life there. If you have any interest in getting to know an American with Finnish ancestry, don't hesitate to contact me!
