I'm Bryony, I live with my partner Ian in a little flat with 2 house rabbits (Ron Swanson and Amelia Pond), a Siamese fighter fish named Barack Obama and his friend the mystery snail, named Joe Biden. We both work 9-5, and outside of that I run a local chapter of a global dance movement and work in the Deaf community. Big fan of the awesome local live music scene in Perth :) I love living close to the city, believe going out for breakfast is better than going out for dinner, and am a massive Doctor Who fan (new school, old stuff still scares me)!

Interesses

Music! Dancing! KARAOKE! Family and friends. Equality for diverse and marginalised groups (asylum seekers, disability, LGBTQI, etc). Love not war. Mental health stuff. Netflix bingeing. Anything Joss Whedon. If you're into NBA, you'll get to talk b-ball with my other half, if you play an instrument we can have a jam, if you're chilled and open-minded, we'll get along just fine.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

Music - pretty varied taste! I used to be an indie kid, but have expanded my taste into pop music (gasp!) over the last few years. Love most things from Foo Fighters to Lady Gaga to M0 to QOTSA to Clare Bowditch. We used to play in a band that was said to be a cross between Black Keys and RATM with a little Jack White - that was pretty awesome!

Movies - Anything Paul Rudd/Jason Segel/Judd Apptow. Not so big on action, but down with sci-fi. We're a bit nerdy and we like to laugh.

Books - mostly biography.

I can teach you about the Deaf community and its language and culture. I would love to share with you my local dance community where we dance in the dark. I would love for you to teach me something that would open my eyes (cultural, musical, personal, anything!).

A cup of tea, a good couch/sofa bed (byo sleeping bag/pillow), rabbit pats, friendly and open conversation, super close public transport access, and possibly some TMI (I tend to talk a lot. I prefer to think it's adorable, but can handle being told to turn it down a little!).
