Overview
About Me
I'm very friendly and interested in people. I love music, books and films. I really enjoy going out and dancing. I'm still figuring out what I'm doing and enjoying the journey. The dream is to have a big garden and a dog, grow and cook my own food, paint, teach yoga.
It should be a given but I am a feminist, just in case you're not.
I try to live ethically and sustainable and I won't leave the tap running while I do the dishes (hint, I clean up after myself).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have a friend who's always hosting couchsurfers and as a result he's got amazing friends in loads of places. I want to be like that. When they're over we bring them out and have a great time. I think that's the best way to see a new place. Meeting them is like travelling without going anywhere.
Interests
Games are class. Nothing's more fun than smashing someone at table tennis and then losing horribly at pool. If you haven't heard of speed scrabble you're missing out.
I play (field) hockey which I love/hate. I drag myself to training but never miss a match.
I used to be in sea scouts but I never get to sail anymore. I still love hiking and camping. It taught me that being wet, cold and dirty isn't the end of the world. Although I can't stand being hungry!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I sailed from Spain to Dublin and saw dolphins at night lit up by fluorescence.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm training to be an Iyengar yoga teacher and happy to show you a few poses. It's the best thing for, well, everything! Seriously nothing beats standing on your head. I can show you how to make sauerkraut.
