I love to meet people, make new connections and have really talks about everything. My favourite characteristics in people are people who are non-judgmental, honest, open, humble and don’t take themselves too seriously. I like being in the outdoors and I love plants... I love dancing (but have no coordination) cooking, all types of art, music, trying learning everything and anything there is to learn and making myself do things I’m scared of.

I worked for the past 3 years for an international Anti-Trafficking charity supporting survivors of trafficking and modern day slavery. Now I run my own project The Radical Resilience Project (RRP) www.theradicalresilienceproject - RRP is a survivor-run organisation that changes systems, creates new structures, dismantles rape culture and supports all survivors.

I also do photography (analogue) and make art/paint.

I'm currently living in Crete with my partner. I've just moved here so looking to meet people and make friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have really enjoyed hosting people. One of my best friends I met when she surfed at my house 6 years ago... now she is married to my brother!!

I prefer to travel this way as you get to know places and learn so much while travelling that you wouldn’t do otherwise.

I have attended some couch surfing parties too.....some which were really fun and some very weird!

Interests

I am passionate about cooking. I have been doing vegan cooking for a while now. I love to cook meals for people when I stay with them/host them. Experiencing everything great (and bad) in life...from cups of tea, discussions, knitting, to exploring.
