About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learn as much as I can from (not necessarily) older and wiser people than I can!
ABOUT ME
My friends tend to see me as pretty driven and a bit Green, yet the more I seek out like-minded people the more I come to admire of people's stories, achievements and commitments. I still feel like a novice person- I just want to have interesting conversations and learn from people! As a slight internet addict and someone whoâs always keen to know whatâs going on, my friends reckon I have a freakish knowledge of local happenings. My friends more often than not see me as smiley, fairly silly and loyal friend. Difficult question though, so here is a direct quote: 'down-to-earth, genuine and up for an adventure' :)
PHILOSOPHY
We are what we do and not what we think we should do.
Nothing sums up my attitude towards this whole experience than the following quote:
Develop an interest in life as you see it; the people, things, literature, music - the world is so rich, simply throbbing with rich treasures, beautiful souls and interesting people. Forget yourself.
Henry Miller

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have yet to have a strict Couchsurfing experience, but I have had the good fortune to stay with some really generous hosts who I did not know before I arrived. These experiences were really positive. I loved the the exchange of cultural tidbits and food!
I love the people you meet in these situations, who have had such interesting experiences/have such interesting perspectives.
Interests
I enjoy drinking coffee in beautiful places and meeting people and having unexpected conversations or evenings. I like going to talks and events and watching the odd Ted talk or two. I love camping and being near the sea.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I feel like I am at the very beginning of my travelling/global experience- I'm just getting in the swing of things. Here are a few of my favourite moments.
One of the most exciting singular experience of my life was being involved in a OneBillionRising dance in Turin. Although we weren't part of the formal dance we managed to lead a conga line of hundreds of people and encourage some other dancing festivities. The excitement and connection between the crowd was amazing and unexpected
- Living in a city in which you can constantly glimpse the Alps takes my breath away on a daily basis
- A cliff side view of Naples, beautiful shimmery sea, city lights at sunset with some of my best friends seems to me to be exactly what travelling should be about.
Teach, Learn, Share
I reallyadmire people who have both a conviction and clarity and passion for what they believe and what they do. These people know their stuff!
