About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Meet as many new people as possible, run off to the wild without notice, write random poetry, always ready for a drink, irritate people and generally have fun!
ABOUT ME
Really hardcore, red-blooded, PURE Bangalorean. And it's NOT "Bengalooru" (yuck!). Been here all my life right from birth. Have witnessed almost all changes that people speak about when they write/speak of Bangalore. Expert on the city on all aspects--from bylanes to buildings, roadside eating stalls to seedy bars to exotic wining & dining places. Nothing is forbidden. Did you know you can get yummy masala dosas at 12:30 AM in one of the numerous snake-like alleys behind K.R. Market?
I love having long, interesting, intellectual and stimulating conversations with complete, random strangers. I'm also a sucker for the written word. A great novel or short story or play or poem will hook me like nothing else!
PHILOSOPHY
Live and let live. Rich experiences flow into an open mind. Poetry is the soul of life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Can give educated recommendations on food, drink, music, travel/sight seeing, and almost any form of entertainment or activity people are looking to explore in Bangalore. Will also be more than happy to join other couchsurfers for coffee/drink or a hearty meal.
An avid reader of any/all genres, I can recommend books and enjoy what other couchsurfers have read and recommend.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Got lost in the Kudremukh mountains and wandered in the dense foliage cum mountains for over 5 hours. A wild bull pursued us just to add to the fun.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm pretty open to all kinds of experiences so all kinds of people are welcome to teach me what they are good at! :-) Someone once taught me how to tie a proper dhoti, like the traditional "kacche" or trouser-like style.
But yeah, I naturally veer towards those who share my interests and know more than me about these interests get special preference (just kidding!).
