CURRENT MISSION

Backpacking throughout the Caribbean, Central, and possibly South America! Learning as much Spanish as I can along the way and having as many incredible experiences as possible.

ABOUT ME

Depending on the time and setting I'm active, chill, spontaneous, thoughtful. My greatest passion is literature and movies. I was raised with pets, mostly dogs, but as for the past several years I've become more of a cat person (especially the fluffy kind). If I can't go for intense jogs, then walking is an okay substitute. I'm an expert at people watching.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will participate. How? Whatever seems right. Lawn mowed? Coffee made? Tree climbed? Conversation had? Laughs shared? Couch occupied? We'll see I guess.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Several years back on a road trip to New Orleans, I used couch surfing once and had a great experience. Otherwise everything else has been experienced vicariously through friends and other travelers.

兴趣

Reading. First and foremost, reading. It will never cease to allure. Being active: walking, jogging, swimming, sports, yoga, exploring. Music is a great thing -- I don't know a lot of it, but I do enjoy me some Led Zep, White Stripes, Nina Simone, Black Keys...anything with grit and soul.... Really there's not much under this sun that wont pique my interest.

Books: any bukowski, Cat's Cradle, Ask the Dust, Hunger, any Celine...what a daunting task...a lot of them.

Movies: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Pie, Inglorious Bastards, Rokinrolla, Bonnie and Clyde, Escape, The Master (A new one that has got my mind utterly boggled and in awe).

Almost was capsized in a canoe by a manatee. It wigged out and sent a wall of water over us.

Road a swamp buggy through the Everglades in the middle of the night during a full moon.

My grandpa was Santa Claus at the Oaks Mall while I was growing up.
