Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To enjoy life in our retirement…doing the things we did not have time for when working and raising a family.
ABOUT ME
My wife, Gail, and I both graduated from Penn State University…her major was in the Humanities, mine in Pol Sci. We are both retired. I retired from the National Park Service, Big Bend NP, Tx. Prior to the NPS I worked as the Dallas Regional Supervisory HR Specialist for the FDIC. We have two grown daughters. We are both 65. We have been married 42 years.
PHILOSOPHY
Gail is more spiritual than I am….I describe myself as a god fearing atheist. We both believe the Golden Rule and feel we are responsible for helping others less fortunate.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We have hosted seven times so far and have enjoyed all of them. Opportunity to meet new and very interesting people.
Interests
Politics, reading, meeting new people. Gail is into ceramics, drawing and painting. She has her own wheel and kiln. We are both moderate Democrats. We love good humor and are able to laugh at ourselves. Life is too short to take all THAT seriously….
