COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE: None... yet!

As much as I love travelling, I've never been a sight-seer in the regular sense; the opportunity of conversation and meeting new people can trump the location to the point where I'll spend the entire time in a new city meeting, talking to and getting to know new people, never once seeing as much as a museum/café/Eiffel Tower/insert your own thing here... (as has happened several times already!)

In other words, Couchsurfing combines the practical elements of travelling with my own main reason for seeing the world: Meeting the people in it.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The first time I saw a festival concert and realized what the rest of my life would revolve around: Music. 70.000 people AND me, all watching The Who at Roskilde in 2007. Eye-opening.

Seeing St. Peter's in Rome for the first time. That was the first time I truly, deeply felt the simultaneous grandeur and vacuousness of the church and all its dogma.
