I studied philosophy and now work with the primary aim of giving money to charitable causes. I'm originally German but have been living in the UK for the last 10 years.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Unfortunately, I currently pretty much only participate by couchsurfing myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a few surfing experiences in Sweden, Italy and Germany, all of which were really positive.

Books: Favourite authors include: Thomas Bernhard, Garcia Marquez, Amos Oz, Tolstoy

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Mexico, Cuba, Thailand, Sri Lanka, South Afrika. Last summer a friend and I went Interrailing through Italy, France and Spain, and as I hadn't heard of couchsurfing yet, we slept rough half the time which turned out to be great fun. However, I still appreciate the occasional roof over my head.

I can probably teach you some German, and I can tell you something about a few topics in analytical philosophy.

It would be great if somebody could teach me more cooking skills.
