关于我
CURRENT MISSION
To learn, grow, reflect, and meet people :)
ABOUT ME
A good way to learn more about me: http://ideasandtea.com
I'm currently planning/in the middle of a trip across the country. I graduated with a bachelors in Robotics in December 2012, though I spent 3 months of that living in rural Kenya, and another year and a half researching human development & education.
I'm trying to meet people, see the country, experience local cultures as authentically as possible, and have the chance to philosophize with as many people as I can.
While I don't have a lot to share, I am happy to brew tea for you as well as share what I know of the topic, teach you how to make borsht (traditional Russian peasant soup, the food of my ancestors), swap exercise ideas (I'm into non-traditional extreme calisthenics) or explore the city together. I am also always happy to help out with cooking, cleaning, or other household chores, and very excited to get involved in the local scene whereever I go.
Hope to meet you soon!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情
"Amazing" is in the eye of the beholder of course, but I have a number of stories I am happy to share:
* Meeting someone on a train, talking for an hour, then flying to Mexico to visit them
* Moving to Africa with only 3 contacts, none of whom I had ever met and living there for 3 months with a family
* Trying to walk across Massachusetts
* Collecting people's life stories and core life philosophies and looking at the lessons across them
* Stories from other travels: hidden cities in Spain, LA-sized craters in Kenya, Cape Cod's secrets, etc. (also, would love to hear yours!)
教,学,和分享
Teach: tea (brewing, types, ceremony - I have in the past auctioned off my tea ceremony in charity auctions and am happy to share!), how to make borsht (traditional Russian peasant beet soup), non-traditional intensive calisthenic workouts (my own personal brand), and assorted engineering stuff (building, microcontrollers, programming, electronics, etc.)
Share: philosophy, conversations, stories, tea, kale smoothies, any food or items I have on me
Learn: anything, everything!
