About Me

CURRENT MISSION

All that can be annihilated must be annihilated

ABOUT ME

I'm a better person than I think I am.

PHILOSOPHY

Take it easy, but do not be afraid to work for something worthwhile.

The most worthwhile things are: knowing people, knowing God, being creative, being honest

It is usually a good idea to ask a wise person why he made a decision or has an opinion, even if you think you already know.

I think most people who have similar ideas to me are not Christians anymore, but I am still a Christian, somehow.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There was this one time I was on a beach in Rhode Island and the tide was coming in, and I could see the water level rising, visibly, in the rocky terrain that I was standing in. It was as if somebody was emptying a giant tub of water into the sand, but it was actually just the ocean responding to the subtle motion of the moon. Sometimes I do not believe that this actually happened. Amazing.

Also I saw Deerhoof in Chicago a few weeks ago. Those guys are awesome.

I was in London for a while, had a pretty good time.

Teach, Learn, Share

I play saxophone, bass guitar, piano, and a little bit of regular guitar. I studied jazz in college, but mostly I have just been writing and recording songs in the style of "chamber rock" lately. Would love opportunities to jam or collaborate with other interesting musicians, also would love to be introduced to interesting, bizarre or otherwise awesome music scenes in places I travel to.
