About Me

CURRENT MISSION

enjoy my final semester of undergrad, rock medical school, learn what it means to be human, use my life to help others

ABOUT ME

In general, I am very occupied with my studies, extracurriculars, and volunteer work, but I love being busy and being a student. I have not had many opportunities to travel, but when I have, they have been truly life-changing experiences! My friends and family are extremely important to me, and I love being around people with a sense of humor, a good story to tell, and a thought to ponder.

PHILOSOPHY

"Be courageous, fear nothing, and you will not be disappointed." – Pope John Paul II

“I don't know what your destiny will be, but one thing I do know: the only ones among you who will be really happy are those who have sought and found how to serve.” - Albert Schweiter

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: alternative, acoustic, pop...you know, whatever. I have Movies: usually a drama or a not-to-gory action movie. some comedy, some romantic comedies. Books: theology, medical non-fiction, C.S. Lewis, Harry Potter (I can admit it)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was able to travel to Spain to participate in the 2011 World Youth Day. I was among over a million Catholic young adults who traveled to Madrid from all over the world to celebrate the youth and universality of the Church. It was an absolutely incredible experience in getting to meet people from all over the world, and especially to experience the Spanish culture.

Teach, Learn, Share

Skills: everything that comes with a biology degree, knowledge of the Catholic Church, basic drawing, very basic veterinary medicine...I can't say that I am an expert in much, but I'm always willing to help out a friend.Learn: anything about music, medicine, cooking...I just like to learn!
