About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be addicted to traveling and never go to rehab.

ABOUT ME

I am not the typical cartoonish Mexican who wears huaraches and lies on the sidewalk, his face covered by a hat bigger than him, neglecting the urge to work. I like to work hard to pay for my travels, just like any other decent citizen.

Out of respect for animals, I've been a vegetarian for more than 20 years straight. One of my favorite mottos is: "We don't have to f*¢@ people over to survive;" I saw it sewed on the jacket of a Catalan lobbyist at Plaza Jaume in Barcelona.

I wish I could travel more. The whole world is out there and I'm just missing it.

PHILOSOPHY

Mmm, I don't think I could sum up my whole take on life in a couple of lines, but this is what first comes to mind: always be grateful; don't do unto others what you don't want others do unto you; seize the day; never give up the fight.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Being a clean, grateful, considerate and funny guest. Also, I always do my best trying to find travelers a place to stay with my friends in my hometown.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's been great so far. To tell you the truth, most of the hosts that I've had are not CS members, but the spirit of sharing is there, no doubt.

Interests

Music, films, literature, clothes, traveling, day-dreaming, Star Wars vintage action figures, Garbage Pail Kids and PEZ dispensers. I hate sports.

Thing seen: a young sax player in Paris who played so amazingly!
