Travelling with my boyfriend to Asia, Europe, and America over our summer (Nov-Feb)

ABOUT ME

My boyfriend, Evan, and I are taking advantage of our 3 month break from university over summer to travel a little! We are going to Thailand, Nepal, and India (accommodation already worked out!), then on to Europe - not entirely sure which countries yet, we'll try to see as much as possible - then over to Canada, down to New York, then over to LA before heading home to NZ! We are both students at Otago University; I'm studying English literature, Evan is studying commerce. We also both work part-time in a seafood restaurant, so we're used to spending a lot of time together! I'm a native of Dunedin and Evan comes from rural Otago but has been here for a few years, so we know the place fairly well and would be happy to show people around the city, although we are unfortunately flatting with several others so don't have any spare beds! Neither of us has participated in CouchSurfing before, although we had a friend who had several people stay with him last summer and highly recommended it as a way of meeting people and discovering other cultures!
