About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Waiting for my foot to heal...

ABOUT ME

So I'm completely new to this. I went to Berkeley for 6 weeks to do a research experience for undergraduates in mathematics. I loved it and it completely changed my life. I came back to Austin and decided I was going to go to New York. I've never been and I want to see it. Lets see... I'm friendly and adventurous and naive. I'm just trying to have a little piece of the world for my memories.

PHILOSOPHY

...kind of a vague question. I don't know... I'm starting to realize I don't really know myself as well as I thought I did. I'm kind of going on this trip to soul search a little and find out what exactly my philosophy on life is. These days I feel it's to just go with what you're feeling and see where life takes you.

Interests

I like a lot of things. I like dogs, books, music, math, thrills, tattoos, piercings, drawing, soccer -big soccer fan : ) , roller coasters, chocolate, traveling, sight seeing, meeting new people, diet coke... the list goes on.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like old school music. My favorite band is The Doors. I'm in love with Jim Morrison. I love all sorts of movies, some I'll proudly admit are corny and dumb. I'm easily amused. Favorite books (that aren't math) would have to be The Count of Monte Cristo, House of Spirits, The God of Small Things, and Paula.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had a high school teacher from Colombia that had a jar of roasted fire ants. He insisted they tasted like peanuts. I tried one. It did not taste like peanuts. He said the second one would be better. I tried another one. It was still gross.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can't cook... I know it's terrible but I can't. I'd love to learn. I speak four languages (Spanish, French, English and Portuguese) not all at the same level but quite well. I'm good at math... If anyone just so happens to be studying for pretty much any math exam I can probably help (as long as it's at an undergraduate level.) I don't know... I'm not great at promoting myself.
