About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Following my bliss....

ABOUT ME

I have always enjoyed learning and exploring new things, seeing new places, meeting new people, etc., and I am realizing that this isn't going to change. I need to function creatively, and connect with creative people, and have been researching creativity and the creative process quite intensely lately, while carving out work along these lines, and exploring the world on the way.

I enjoy all types of music, and love connecting with interesting, passionate people, engaging in interesting, passionate conversation, and experiencing new things.

PHILOSOPHY

Mine changes from week to week and that's ok...
Life is short, and it's a terrible thing to waste. Follow your bliss, and treasure the people on your path. Stay fresh and open, don't let life jade you. Pain can shut you down, or, if you let it, open you to love and beauty you could've never imagined... And I try to have fun along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I stayed with someone in San Francisco, and travelled with some other couch surfers down the California coast. I also showed some people around LA.

I enjoy meeting other travelers, and also like showing people the sights in my area even if I can't host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have always enjoyed meeting, traveling, and staying with strangers around the world. My favorite experience didn't actually go through CS, since my hosts didn't have Internet access... I was hiking in the Judean desert just east of Jerusalem, and stayed with some very gracious Bedouins I met there. Despite my limited Arabic and their limited English, we had a great time and they sent me off with gifts when I left the next day.

The experience, which took place in a time of great local political tension, gave me a new level of hope and trust in people and the human spirit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was involved in a religious cult for 4.5 years. Travelled the world with them, worked for free, lived comunally, etc. I've done a lot of other things and learned a lot, but nothing else has taught me so much about the human condition...
