ABOUT ME

We enjoy being outside. We camp, hike, canoe, snow-shoe. We love our dogs and other people's dogs. We both like to read.

PHILOSOPHY

We laugh... ALOT. Life is weird so we are OK with being weird. We tend to not make plans far in advance. We are pretty OK with going where the wind blows. Food is delicious.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have comfy futon available for those who come to experience the Last Frontier. We will be road tripping back to Ohio either in March or Summer of 2009 and will CouchSurf all the way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have had the best people come by and surf and had some really awesome times! Can't wait to have more!

Interests

Going on walks or hikes- anything outdoors; we like good food, playing with our dogs... We love Ohio State Football! We love movies and road trips. Oh, and Family Guy is awesome.

Music, Movies, and Books

Gladiator, The Godfather movies, Shawshank Redemption, Harry Potter movies, Memento, Singing in the Rain, V for Vendetta, Boondock Saints, Disturbia, Band of Brothers. Everything music except rap and country. Classic Rock is huge: The Doors, Stones, Zeplin... Danny likes the classic books (those ones that everyone is supposed to read) and books that teach you stuff. Heather likes science fiction, fantasy, Harry Potter, and science stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Heather was in Hanover, Germany for New Year's in 2000. Danny was in the OSU Marching Band when they won the National Championship January 2003.
Heather finally saw a whale breach on a Seward Cruise, June 09!

Teach, Learn, Share

Heather wants to learn and teach more about cooking. Danny would like to learn anything that is practical to fixing up home-care things or easy automobile maintenance. Danny also would love to learn about outdoor "survival" kinds of things.
