I was married for 20 years and have five beautiful children from that marriage. We also had another ten children through foster care over that time. I love meeting new friends and developing new friendships. Some will become more over time and maybe Iâ

PHILOSOPHY

I have learned to never say never. The 40's have been complicated but a wonderful exploration. People have different kinds of views and beliefs and you only learn when you're open-minded and willing to try new things.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am interested in getting more of an active community started in Chattanooga. I don't have space to share currently but expect I will again in the near future. I find this is a great way to meet people as we travel as well as when we host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been to a few meet-ups in Atlanta and have stayed with a couple of hosts.

Interessen

Travel is a big one. Being an outdoorsman, I love hiking, canoeing, and camping. I've participated in a few triathlons over the years.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Most of the books I read are more of the non-fiction self help/ business variety. I do love movies but usually avoid getting sucked into TV shows. I'm a sucker for a romantic comedy but avoid horror flicks. I like a wide variety of music but usually tune in to 80's or top 40 when I'm alone.

Week long trips hiking on the Appalachian Trail or paddling the Buffalo River. Diving in Jamaica. Sailboats at sunset in the islands. Watching my little girls eyes light up when she met Cinderella at Disney. Where is a small part of it. It's all about the people you share the journey or experiences with.
