Overview
About Me
I'm pretty curious and like travelling (wow what news), escaping planes in favour of buses, trains and boats, meeting people, trying new foods, enjoying the sunlight and nature. I get extremely enthusiastic probably too easily, and I'd give the world for the ones I care about. Sometimes I'm not exactly the most delicate person in the world, and I always end up trying to do too many things in not enough time. I need a deadline to work more efficiently and love foreign languages, sociology, history, environment.
CURRENTLY: Beirut Lebanon.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm curious. About places people cultures cities environments feelings food nature languages everything.
I really hope to meet new and interesting people travelling like me or sharing knowledge and experiences about them and their country.
Interests
I enjoy conversation but I hate small talk. The best thing someone can do is giving you their time and talking to you about their fears.
Learning languages is a way to unlock new universes, millions more possibilities to talk to someone new.
I care about the environment. Trying to cut plastic. I love ALL foods, despite being pretty picky. And cooking is one of my favourite ways to spend time.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: I like them a lot but horrors freak me out.
TV series: super mainstream opinion that Game of Thrones is amazing. Black mirror is something that we all should watch once, just to understand the direction this world is taking.
Music: tons, old and recent, lately many Italians. And I love Erik Satie.
Biffy Clyro, Muse, die Antwoord, Alt-J, the XX, Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, David Bowie, Johnny Cash, Ministri, Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti, Massive Attack, Subsonica, Edda, Monikino Kino, the Dumplings, Gogol Bordello, Queens of the Stone Age, Rökkurró, Cro, Zemfira, the Beatles, Susanne Sundfør, M83, Russkaja, Larry & his Flask, Dir En Grey, Arctic Monkeys, Kaiser Chiefs, Massive Attack, Nine Inch Nails, The Zen Circus, Levante, Beirut, La Femme, Polo&Pan.
Books: mostly Russian classics and travel literature, especially Tiziano Terzani.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Transiberian railroad trip in 2016 has changed pretty much everything about my priorities and left me with my favourite place on earth, Lake Baikal.I've spent days on a train, visited Asia for the first time, been as far as I'd never been before. It definitely meant a lot.
Saw the northern lights in Murmansk!
Been on both sides of the Aral Sea
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a teacher of foreign languages, so I guess that's what I could teach the best, along with cooking Italian dishes. I'll be very strict! Plus I'm a whiny whinier about the environment so probably I will share my fears of human extinction with you. Congratulations!
I want to learn pretty much everything - as I said, I'm quite curious.
