My current mission is to create a beautiful life for my soon to be son. I would like to develop a place where I can live self sustainably and ultimately travel again without sacrificing too much.

ABOUT ME

Hello! I'm Raven and my partner, Santiago and I are currently settled down waiting on the arrival of our little one. We're just all around hippies, interested in spirituality, nature, and self sustainability. I'm a very intellectual type, I love conversation that gets my brain going. We're nudists and 420 friendly, of course (if either of those are bothersome to you, we definitely won't make you deal with it, clothes just aren't comfortable to us). I consider myself a naturalist, meaning I try to avoid man made chemicals and such to the best of my ability, and I try to spend as much time as I can outside.

I'm a spiritualist; I enjoy yoga (actual yoga as a spiritual practice, not just exercise), reiki, crystal healing, and tarot reading. I could either do any of these things for you or teach you about them if you're so interested.

Santiago is a musician and can play just about any instrument. Not only would he love to play some guitar for you, but he'd give you a lesson if you wanted one, too.

I guess that about sums it up in a pretty babbly and jumbled up way.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that every creature deserves compassion. I believe that through mindful like awareness one can overcome any obstacle. I believe in pursuing enlightenment to reach Nirvana.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Formerly a surfer, now a host. Haven't had the honor of hosting someone yet!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I backpacked/hitchhiked about 400+ miles from Marshall to New Braunfels and met wonderful people. I stayed with two individuals in Austin, TX, only one of them was a psycho. On our most recent trip we've stayed with ten other couchsurfers, two in Arkansas, one in Kansas, six in Colorado and one in California, all wonderful people.

Centres d'intérêt

Yoga is my passion. The sacred practice, not the westernized exercise routine. It has taught me that all you need to be happy in life is mindful awareness.

I like to read. Most fantasy novels and spiritual texts, but I also love things regarding quantum physics, but that's probably as "non fiction" as I'll get.

I've been writing our travels as they come, compiling a book for the future. It's a long process, but I love it.

I draw recreationally, although I'm not very good.

I'm a healer. I do reiki (light energy healing) as well as crystal chakra healings.

I'm also a tarot reader, and could do any reading you'd like for you, if you please.
I love to play guitar, but Santiago is best at it.

Santiago and I slept inside a redwood tree in the Humboldt Redwood Forest. It was still alive, it felt so nice :)

I would love to share my knowledge of yoga, meditation, and buddhism with people! I also read tarot, and I'm a crystal healer. Santiago is a musician and is well versed in music theory and such, and both of us are into astrology; Santiago could probably teach you everything there is to know about it.
