About Me

CURRENT MISSION

discover the world

ABOUT ME

I am about to dicover the world, by the time you read this I will have and had a lot of first times. I signed up on couchsurfing for the first time, flew for the first time and set foot on another continent for the first time, touched the Pacific and so on. I am planning to do a two-month-southwest-roadtrip in the United States. And to get to know not only landscape but people, I signed up here.

PHILOSOPHY

The world is a great place and traveling, meeting good people, listening to some music and having a couple of beers makes it even more fun!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now it's only surfing, because I intend to travel the next couple of months. After that, as soon as I get my own flat I'll host. Hopefully in Lucerne, the most beautiful city in central Switzerland.

Interests

I love to fix old cars, my project for the last couple of years has been a beatle, basically making a car and putting it together out of scratch and rusty parts. I've been a scout for nearly a decade now and I love bond fires, camping, nature and simplicities of life (although human inventions like electricity are pretty great). And I am a huge fan of barbecues; great people, fire, meat, beer and a good time are the best combo ever. And Roadtrips are simply a lot of fun and concentrated good time.

Music, Movies, and Books

I do enjoy music and books, and once in a while a good movie really lets you relax. I am not all too focused on a particular kind of music and enjoy sharing and getting introduced to to me new music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A one month road trip trough France (which ended up taking place in seven countries, the northern most was Sewden (check the Europe map and you'll see how far off the original route we got)
