About Me

"I believe myself, i believe in travelers and i believe we are going to change the world."

This is from me 11 months backpacking experience in South America.

and this is from Steve Jobs:

"The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do" .

So lets do it ;)

When i start to travel 16 months ago, i was thinking i want to see more places. Of course i do, but its not more important than knowing more people. Because i experienced that, after somewhile people and their stories will make my trip more interesting and more amazing instead of places.

I have a huge passion about traveling for all my life and im trying to solve this problem, how can i do that? If you have any contributions for this problem, i would be glad ;)

I am very easygoing and as people told me i am also funny and interesting guy :) I am interested with art, filmmaking, traveling, drinking, discovering new people and bla bla.. I promise you a really good conversations and stories if you host me :)

I am an industrial engineer but i always work for software companies. Even i had my own company before, and i was consulting for airlines and startups. Even i love what i was doing, i am looking for different areas now because a lot of things to do in the world :)

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe diem! I decided to quit my job for travelling around the world only in 10 days!

WHY YOU SHOULD HOST ME?

Dont worry! I will not write "I like to meet new people and new cultures, bla bla.." :) I have a list for that!

1. I will have a little present from Istanbul, Turkey for you!
2. If i have a chance to cook, I may cook some Turkish food for you! or im really good at making Long Island, if you have drinks for that i can prepare you the best Long Island ever!
3. I really like to go out drink beer or anything else and partying. So if you are into that kind of things, I am the right person! :)
4. If you wanna travel someday, I can share my experiences and teach you some tricks for staying, food etc.
5. If you will go to Istanbul someday, you can be sure I will turn your favor back!
6. If you like to hear about traveller stories, i have a lot!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like couchsurfing because of the local experience. I dont want to be tourist when I'm exploring the world. On that trip I may choose the city, which i will live next couple years. So thats important for me to see the places from the local's point of view.

Music, Movies, and Books

This is the part which i dont like to summarize. Thats why you shouldnt take this part seriously because i am always passioned about to learn new things.

For music, i really like to explore new music and playlists from Spotify and i dont wanna narrow my music taste. This is the playlist I'm enjoying while im editing my profile now :-)
https://open.spotify.com/user/spotify/playlist/0rvcWf8qidEbzpy2QacI0J

For movies, its a bit hard question but i have some cliche favorites like Christopher Nolan's Batman series, Fight Club etc. But my last favorite movie is La Belle Verde. If you have a traveler mind or a bit hippie mind you should watch this movie.
Edit after 4 months in US: Pineapple Express is my favorite movie when I'm stoned :)

For books, nowadays i am interested with Zen Buddhism, Jack Kerouac, Beat generation and some hippie stuff. As a note, Eckhart Tolle - A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose is the life changer for me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

the answer is obvious but lets talk about other stuff :)

- roadtripping in West Coast for 4 months (mostly Emerald Triangle)
- being an apprentice of ganja farmer
- meeting Geronimo's grand son
- running under the Iguazu Falls
- backpacking in South America for 11 months
- riding an elephant
- try to swim at dead sea (don't try this!)

Teach, Learn, Share

teach: I don't want to name it as teaching but i can share my experiences about: backpacking in South America, as an engineer how i became more heart person and my life is becoming easy and happy, some entrepreneur stuff. I'm so lucky because Ive been told by people I have interesting stories if you want to listen.

learn: I would love to hear your stories and your experiences. I'm so open to hear new things

share: Life is sharing, life is giving.. I can share what i have and I will be so happy about that.

What I Can Share with Hosts
