ABOUT ME

I love art in all forms but currently I dedicate most of my time to yoga and dance therapy, which I study here in Italy. As I am new in Rome, learning the language day by day, I am still discovering my environment, climbing mountains and sleeping at beaches, humming with the bees while strolling through parks and awing at the majestic sights while slurping an aperitivo. While studying in Germany, I worked for Greenpeace and with refugees and still love to discuss socio-political issues and want to get engaged here as well.
Though our globalized world does have some disadvantages, meeting new people from all around our globe for sure is a gift of today's era. I love to meet and exchange ides. Coz every meet cute is an enrichment. I really enjoy honest and open-hearted people and I always try to think positively - to enjoy life and to fully glow in the moment without hurting anyone coz I do believe that we reap what we sow...

I surfed more then I hosted and for most of the time it used to be lots of fun and joy but after a couple of negative situations, I shanti shanti want to give CS a new try...

In a world that suffers from abundance, can there really be a favourite of anything? There are so many amazing authors, musicians and artists that I believe it all depends on the inner mood.
But generally I guess these are some of my favorites: Hayao Miyazaki, Wes Anderson and Abbas Kiarostami movies, totally mesmerized by Persian poetry, love books by Houllebecq, Pollesch, Jelinek, Coetzee, Ngozi Adichie - oh and of course Rilke and Hesse... and in music I love Persian and Indian music, just as much as old Jazz, Ludovico Einaudi and Tocotronic or Gisbert zu Knyphausen and so much more... surprise me with something new! :-)

every morning when I wake up in my white sheets feeling the warmth of the first sun rays on my face, feeling my breath flying through my body and realizing that I woke up, I feel very blessed that there's a new day to celebrate!
