About Me

A Vietnamese guy living in Europe since 2017, always looking for new experiences to eventually understand myself better.

For me, life is already complicated enough so every day, I try to find happiness in every small thing around me. I can feel happy for hours if someone I meet on the road simply says "Bonjour!" to me with a big smile.

I also believe that feelings can spread so I want to stay positive by meeting positive people. I try to go and meet people as much as I can (even though to be honest I am not that much sociable).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I guess when you are reading this, you already contributed to CouchSurfing, so I don't need to explain much how amazing this community is.

This platform has given me the opportunity to travel in a unique way, it basically is a part of my identity (sharing is caring, local hospitality...), I therefore will try my best to keep this platform alive.

Interests

I want to highlight that I really love cooking, I usually watch cooking channels on Youtube and try to make new dishes when I can. I have pleasure when cooking Vietnamese food for others.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can say I am a bit "strange" here since I love Vietnamese traditional music (which is not preferred by quite many Vietnamese).
I also like opera music although I do not know much about it.

I don't read often but I am always eager to learn new things, mostly through the Internet and people that I talk to.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Giving my chair to a classmate of mine in highschool.

It sounds like a simple thing to do but I consider that one of the turning points in my life. It always tells me that if I really want to do something, I can do it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people how to cook some of the most popular Vietnamese dishes.

And occasionally you will hear me say how much I want to leave Europe to go back to Vietnam but hey, here I am still 😆

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd love to share my stories and my knowledge as well as experiences about Asian cultures.
And ... may I cook something for you ?
