We've known each other for about 8 years and been together as a couple for nearly 2 years.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We're hoping to participate by meeting people from as many places as possible, even if its just for coffee!
We can't host at the moment as our life is in boxes but when we're ready to get a place to call home we'll certainly be putting our sofa up for visits!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No experiences as yet but we will update as we meet and greet...

Interests

We were both signed up to the Sheffield Walking Group and enjoyed walks around the Peak District before we left for travelling.
As for other interests... pretty much anything until we decide it's not for us?!

Music, Movies, and Books

We're really enjoying fiction that educates about other cultures, especially reading about the countries that we've been in recently. Gail is interested in pretty much any book as she's an English teacher...
Back at home in Sheffield we used to go to the cinema every few weeks, usually to see foreign types of film.
And music... pretty varied. Enjoy live bands and dancing to the usual rock/indie/pop. Not R&B.

Leaving Heathrow for Delhi in 2010! (Gail also went snorkling in Cambodia in an attempt to overcome her fear of fish!)

Teach, Learn, Share

Nikki - Working as a support worker for a housing charity in England, and previously as a drugs project worker, I've a pretty good knowledge of all things housing and drug related. I love getting into a good old discussion about these areas and the issues that they raise (oh and politics!). I hope in the future to work in another country in this area so I'm hoping to learn as much as I can from anyone who's willing to talk!
Gail - Is an established English teacher who is always happy to help people with their grammar, book recomendations or conversational English. In return she's looking to meet people who will give her the courage to write a bestseller and finally make it onto the stage!
