About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission in life... live in the present, enjoy every moment, chase your goals and dreams, challenge yourself daily and never look back.

ABOUT ME

All about me... that's difficult because life isn't all about me! I've just been on the biggest journey of my life travelling round the world since january 2011 and realised many qualities and also many faults to my personality. Its hard to list such things, I'm not big on labelling and using 'I' this n 'I' that but here goes... I'm thoughtful, considerate openminded and very caring, I'm big on friends and family and meeting new people, I give everyone my time and love making that connection. I constantly want to challenge myself in to trying new things. I suppose before I came travelling I would turn down the smallest things because 'I couldn't be bothered' which is insane, now I indulge myself in life and constantly wear a smile :-)

PHILOSOPHY

I believe 'everything happens for a reason'

'When i don't mind what happens, what does that imply? It implies that internally I am in alignment with what happens. "What happens" of course, refers to the suchness of this moment, which always already is as it is. It refers to content, the form that this moment-the only moment there ever is-takes. To be in alignment with 'what is' means to be in a relationship of inner nonresistance with what happens. It means not to label it mentally as good or bad but let it be. Does this mean you can no longer take action to bring about change in your life? On the contrary. When the basis for your actions is inner alignment with the present moment, your actions become empowered by the intelligence of Life itself.' - A New Earth, Eckhart Tolle

Interests

My main interest in life is living life to the full, seeing the world, learning about new cultures, people and myself. I love reading, music, any thing which involves socialising.

I am currently studying Wildlife & Practical Conservation at The University of Salford. I care about our plant and want to see it prosper for future generations and protect it for the millions of species that share the planet before they become extinct! ❤🌍

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies... I'm so bad when it comes to watching movies, I'm not denying there are some classics but movies ain't my thing, if I had to pick one, my utmost favourite it would have to be 'Clash of the Titans' old AND new, and The Twilight Saga (please don't judge me, haha). Actually I love films just don't find time to sit and watch them.

Music... I love a bit of everything depending on my mood but my taste varies from Kasabian, The XX to Nina Simone, Selah Sue, Groove Armada, (music is totally mood dependant) plus many many more and I'm still curious to hear what other people listen to.

Books... I love reading what I call feel good books, books that put your head in a good mental place. The first book i read like this was 'The Key to Living the Law of Attraction' which i ended up buying for all my friends n family. Then a friend introduced me to 'Zen and the Art of Happiness'. Now i'm reading 'A New Earth' by Eckhart Tolle, its amazing to say the least.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2011 has by far been the best year of my life, i've travelled round the world and seen some beautiful places and i've met the most amazing people who have made me grow as a person, I've learnt so much this year about the world we live in, life, me, its been a journey and one I will never forget... I couldn't pick just one amazing thing, for me I would like to discuss many amazing things I've seen and done with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and equally hear all about yours!
