I'm a Turkish student from Istanbul, Turkey. I study mechanical engineering. I live with my parents so unfortunately I don't have any free beds in my home and its pretty far from the city center though (about 25km).
But if you come to my city I can try my best to be a nice company to you and I can show you some Turkish hospitality :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meeting new people around the world. I've been on Erasmus at Krakow, Poland in 2018. Unfortunately, it was my only time abroad so far. I really loved the city and the country. I met nice people there and had amazing memories in the city. I want to make new friends who visit my city and I want to accompany them in their trip here.

Music, Movies, and Books

Linkin Park and TwentyOne Pilots are my favorite artists. I've been a huge Linkin Park fan since I was 10. I know every song of them. Their music is playing almost on the background of my life :) Twentyone Pilots is my favorite current artist. I'm listening them a lot nowadays. But I have no limit on music taste. I can listen every tipe of music as long as they are nice to me. Genre is dead.
My favorite books are The Witcher series. I love both the books and the games.
Due to my interest on science and space, Interstellar is my favorite movie. I love LOTR movies though but I haven't read the books. I love fantastic stories.
My favorite games are The Witcher 3 and Skyrim. I can play every type of game such as FPS, RPG, Indie, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time we were about to go to sea with my friend, in his hometown. He mixed up the bus stops so we left the bus in the middle of nowhere. We had to take a half hour walk among 1 meter tall wild plants, with long sticks in our hands just in case we face with some snakes. There were also many insects which is disgusting for me. It was crazy

I’m the type of a nerd guy so I think I can teach you something about engineering in our daily life. I’d love to learn new things about any kind of topics. I’d love to get a piece of your knowledge.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can meet up with you on your trips and be a company to you. I am usually shy so I may look distant at the beginning but believe me, a couple beer is enough for me to get in the mood ;)
I would love to host you either but I stay with my parents so there is not enough space. Moreover, my home is about 25 km far from the city center.
