I'm Burak, I’m a university student who’s enthusiastic about traveling. I'm interested in being exposed to new cultures and different lifestyles. As a young person with some experience abroad, traveling and meeting various kinds of people are the things I am passionate about :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One thing I've learned from my various trips is that what matters is the journey(especially the people you've met and the experiences you've had), aside from the city/country. I am interested in having conversations with people from all over the world and listening to their life stories.

Music, Movies, and Books

I consider myself as a bibliophile person. Labeling one as the favorite would not be fair I guess. I love books about history, cognitive sciences, social sciences and traveling.
Regarding music, I love alternative rock and acoustic covers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One day when I was driving through the right lane of a highway, I realized that there was a little traveler (a turtle) who was going across the road. I suddenly braked and got out of the car and placed the little traveler back to the bush where it came from :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Learning could be one of the things that I enjoy most. I love learning new things, especially new languages. I have a particular interest in etymology and history of ancient civilization.

I'm a compatible person, and I'm more of a listener than a talker. Exchanging ideas about life and experiences would mean a lot to me!
