ABOUT ME
Hi there!
I'm Karin, from Bavaria, Germany. I study English language and literature studies and can't wait to find new friends in the anglophone world. I am a very open-minded, friendly person and I just love to meet new people, hear their story and eventually become friends. I am very social - my friends and family are very important to me and I try to spend as much time as possible with them or with my dwarf bunny, König Ludwig.
Vegan couchsurfers especially welcome :)
PHILOSOPHY
Lose not yourself in a far off time, seize the moment that is thine!
(Friedrich von Schiller)
Sometimes I catch myself fiddling away and then I just have to give myself a start. A start to just do things and not dream about them, experience good and bad things, odd people, outrageous situations and eventually meet someone on your journey who gives you the opportunity to find another way, to make it better this time, to inspire others with your very own energy. My aim is to travel - not only to foreign countries, but through life, to find myself, where I belong in this world, and to meet people who want to join and guide me on my journey.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Half a year in the UK as an aupair changed my life in many ways, not only by meeting new people and friends, but also by recognizing how important the ones are you already have. Life is a wave of losing and finding people, some are like shooting stars, suddenly appearing, shining widely and making your life glow for a short moment, then disappearing as fast as they crashed into your life; others are like the sun, you cannot constantly see them and when they are gone, it feels quite dark, but as soon as they are with you, they make you feel warm and comfortable and you wish you could stay with them forever...
