ABOUT ME

I'm an American who was born in Chicago, raised in Milwaukee and its environs, and also spent 5 years as an adult in Minneapolis. I've been living in Istanbul since 2004. In the States I worked as a software developer but I gave up the hectic life to come to Istanbul for an extended vacation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to help people with their Turkey travel inquiries. I have organized several events for visiting couchsurfers. I host on occasion, but generally by special request as my flat is quite crowded already!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've mostly arranged a variety of social/cultural events for visiting couchsurfers. I attend the occasional meet-up. I have also helped organized sporting events such as football matches.

In addition, I've done a bit of couchsurfing and hosting in Turkey.
