About Me

A Singaporean presently living in NYC. Grew up with generations of migrants which I think the DNA is continuing to flow through.

Loves meeting people from all walks of life and learning about their experiences and cultures.

Enjoys photography and traveling (and recently just started back on my travel blogging), more likely exploring historical architecture, visiting museums, sitting in a cafe by the window sipping my tea and a few snacks and people watch. Always enjoying the simple things in life amidst the crazy, high-paced work life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always enjoyed traveling and visiting eye-opening places but it comes with a price and the highest prices paid are typically accommodations. Sometimes even when you can afford a nice comfortable place to sleep, it lacks the experience of learning and experience culture with a local.

Couchsurfing serves a way of living with a local and making meaningful conversations and relationships, that's what makes it comfortable.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Pop, jazz, blues, country
Movies: Action, comedy
Books: Nothing in particular but if it captivates my attention, it gets me reading!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to Mexico City for my bday in 2018 and loved every second of it. Everyone was too nice and the greatest thing is that I've felt like I fit in perfectly!

Teach, Learn, Share

My sad story which I love to learn and overcome, be able to share the experience is: learning to drive comfortably and be able to drive anywhere I want. As of now, the amount of fear crippling up my spine just thinking about driving is enough to pull me away from cities that are car-essential :(

What I Can Share with Hosts

Many many many things that I can share so you're more than welcome to chat up with me anytime.

Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, France, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom
