About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoying the quirkiness of San Francisco.
ABOUT ME
**Surfers: I love hosting, but in SF, I get about 3 requests per day if I have a "Maybe" for couch availability. If you feel like I just must host you for a particular reason, feel free to write. For consideration of my roommates, however, I can only host about one person/month, meaning requests are held to a high standard. Thanks for understanding!**
Practical, quirky, and love to laugh. I have a sarcastic sense of humor, and make fun of things. Also, I love to learn, which results in my asking people lots of questions. If you meet me, this will be immediately apparent.
I read books. Hang around with friends. I love to dance -- hip hop, salsa, tango, capoeira, breakdancing, you name it. l really enjoy cooking and eating tasty food, and always enjoy a good hike. If you come visit, we will probably drink tea. I totally love tea.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The generosity and warmth of couch surfers gives me that fuzzy feeling. Seriously, I can't believe the whole community is so awesome.
Interests
Hearing the little details about the unusual. Like, the guy I met that works out the South Pole mentioned that penguins smell bad. Of course! But i would never have thought of it if he hadn't said so. :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I like to read. Not online news and stuff, but books! Mostly non-fiction books ranging from how to live a fuller life to books about science/humanity/society.
Not a huge movie fan. But I like comedies, cute kids movies, and documentaries. When I was a kid, I thought Spaceballs was the best thing ever. I am in love with David Attenborough.
I listen to a lot of NPR, and Wait Wait Don't Tell Me is a weekly ritual at my apartment. If you have music recommendations, I'd love to hear them!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Drove/camped/couchsurfed up through Alaska.
Made my own maple syrup in Vermont.
Teach, Learn, Share
I was also a gymnast for like, forever, so if you want to learn to cartwheel or stand on your hands, ask for a lesson!
Countries I’ve Visited
