Hey, my name is Burkhard. I'm living in a small village in the west of Germany. I'm 22 and currently doing my bachelor in mechatronics. I love travelling, I guess like everyone else on this platform. In 2018 fell in love with travelling while I did an Europe interrail trip with a friend. Before university starts again I want to do an Italy Trip.
I am also three times vaccinated.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since my trip in 2018 I realised how much I love travelling. Unfortunately my English was pretty bad at that time. After half a year in South Africa and improving my English skills I experienced how much more there is to travelling if you are able to interact with other people. That's why I want the experience of meeting new people wherever I go.
Unfortunately I can't host surfer right now because I live at my parents house. I hope this will change in 2022.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would say some of the most impressive things I saw were the Chinese wall and elephants in wildlife.

I'm an easy going and open minded person. I always try to transmit a positive vibe. Although at the beginning I might seem a bit quit and cautious but this changes very quickly.
