I grew up just north of Chicago, IL, USA and just got back from an amazing summer abroad in Madrid. I just transferred to Loyola University Chicago and am studying English and Secondary Education!

I first joined couchsurfing when I was studying abroad last year and would like to continue using it now that I'm home. I loved the majority of my experiences with it in the past and would like to meet people from all over the world even though I can no longer travel to meet people :)

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I like most kinds of music from Frank Sinatra to indie rock to American hip/hop and rap.
I love watching old movies from the USA's golden age of cinema (1930s-1950s) and of course modern movies as well. Sci-fi, action, comedy, they are all pretty appealing to me.
Picking favorite books is too difficult...I love so many of them and there are so many I have yet to read. I love quotes, though. They are like little snippets of books or speeches or poems that can speak more than the entire work. :)
